Dr. Rudtanatip is academic researcher with more than ten years’ experience in sulfated polysaccharides isolated from algae and health benefits such as antioxidant, anticancer, antimicrobial, wound healing, etc. He was a post-doctoral training at the Laboratoire de Glycochimie des Antimicrobiens et des Agroressources (LG2A), Université de Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens, France, investigating the structure-activity relationship between of sulfated polysaccharides, among them sulfated galactan from Gracilaria fisheri, and biological activities for drug and product developments. Current his research works on chemical synthesis, modification, and complete characterization of sulfated galactan and other polysaccharides. The synthesized-and modified-sulfated oligo- and polysaccharides use to investigate the biomedical applicability.
